It was the Forth of July and we were ready for the Vacation of a lifetime.Here you see Seth and his good friend Adam buckled in and ready for take off. The first leg of our trip will take us to Orlando Florida where we stayed Friday and Saturday at the Homewood Suites by Hilton.
Jeff and I are ready for take off as well.
Seth and Adam were ready to get this vacation under way. Here you see the two of them heading for the rental car facility and Seth and Adam have the pleasure of selecting our car for the week. Luckily they got us one that would hold all of our luggage. (It was a very tight squeeze.)
While the guys were still in our room sleeping, Jeff and I decided to go out for a walk in the neighborhood of our hotel. We'd finished a very nice breakfast and we were off. Here you see a nice park type setting just a couple of blocks from the hotel. I posed for this picture only to see the sign in the next picture a few minutes later.
Yikes! Alligator! And there truly were gator in the little lake here. We stepped back onto the sideway and watched them crawl from the banks into the water. So much for sight seeing here!
