Great Day at Tanners Orchard
Three very good friends of mine (from church and our kids go to PCHS together
), had lunch at Tanner's Orchard and spent the afternoon there shopping and enjoying each others company. We laughed and had a wonderful "girls" day. The weather was fantastic, the food was delicious, the shopping was fun and the fellowship was loving and genuine. These women are beautiful inside and out, and they are truly a blessing in my life.

The Kids are home from their Honeymoon
Nick and Aubrey got back from Riviera Maya yesterday. We had a family luncheon and gift opening party today. Grandma and Grandpa Eubank were here, along with Noah, Seth, Aubrey's parents, Becky and Gary Slawik, and her aunt and uncle, Marty and Diane Faulkner. We had a great time watching the kids open their gifts. They are truly BLESSED! Here they are posing with some of the nice things they got.
The chef's hats have Mr. and Mrs. on them. "Cute"!

It's a Girl!!!!!
Thank you all soooo much for praying for Laura, Greg and the baby. Everyone is fine. As you can see they met their forever daughter. I have very few details to share with you other than it's a girl, she has brown hair, dark brown eyes and olive colored skin and that she is ABSOLUTELY beautiful. She is perfect. We won't get to have her here in the United States for a couple more months. That is just the Russian way. Please continue to pray for our baby girl and her parents and that everything (paperwork etc.) goes smoothly and perfectly. Thanks. I'll keep ya posted. Vic

Prayer Please for Laura, Greg and the baby
Good Morning, I am going to get off the wedding path for a little bit and ask everyone who reads this to pray.
I made a plea last week for everyone to pray for my youngest sister Laura and her husband Greg. They left the morning after the wedding for Russia to (hopefully) meet the baby that will be theirs forever.
They left Peoria at a little after 9 AM and we have gotten only one message from them since.
We know they made it to their destination in Russia, but little else. Laura left a message on my phone from an "unavailable" number and said to pray. The trip up to that point had been difficult. She must be very worried and nervous. She said she had broken out in hives! And there was no baby yet.
Please, please pray for them. Pray they have met their forever child. That the baby is healthy and that all the paperwork is in order and that no more money will be needed to complete the adoption. As many of you know, international adoptions are VERY expensive. I believe that this one tops them for the ones I am familiar with!!!
Please pray for safety for all and a good trip home. Please pray that Laura and Greg contact me SOON. Thanks, Vickie
