The BIG Week

Well the wedding is almost here. 4 days and counting. We ask for your prayers as many last minute details are made. Pray away the possible stress that could so easily come upon Aubrey and Nick and both of our families. Please pray for journey mercies for everyone who will be traveling here to celebrate with us.
I have a very special request aside from the wedding. My youngest sister Laura and her husband Greg will travel here for the wedding from California and will arrive on Tuesday. The morning after the wedding they will board a plane in St. Louis and fly to Russia to meet their new child. Please pray for them in every way that Holy Spirit leads you to pray. They need encouragement, assurance, safety, and favor at every stop, and most of all, that they will recognize the child God has intended for them to have from the beginning. Please pray that this experience will not contain any dread or fear, but every decision will be God-led. That they will embrace this journey God has chosen for them to take. And that they will see His hand and feel His hand upon them every second. They will return to the United States without their baby and will have to travel back to Russia in 3 months to bring their child home to be with them forever. Pray a special comfort, that can only come from the Lord, as they have to walk away and leave Russia with empty arms. Please pray that the next three months will be spent with great excitement as they prepare to have their child home with them.I thank you all VERY much for all your prayers, love and concern you show our family. We love you all. the next post should have LOTS of pictures of the weeks events. Love ya, Vickie

The game I referred to in the post below is a PSP, PlayStation Portable. Sorry about the typo.

Our GROWING Eubank family

Hi All~ This is a picture of Seth and our new son, Kevin after their first day of school. they both had a good day, although Seth says he hates school already. Yeah, yeah, yeah we have heard that since kindergarten. They both had homework on the first day. Seth had to write for AP English and Kevin had World History and Advanced Algebra. Fun thing about the boys is, Seth loves any kind of history and it is Kevin's least liked subject. Seth doesn't care for Math and that is Kevin's best and most liked subject. Go figure, God is going to use the boys to help each other through out the year I know. They have already become good friend. Seth is hanging out in Kevin's room now. Seth playing with a game thing (PSA) on the floor and Kevin is on the bed on his lap top computer. We are really enjoying our new "family". Stay tuned in for our next addition, Peter. He should arrive later this month. Fun, fun, fun!

Grandma's 80th Birthday Party

We planned a surprise birthday party for Grandma, and we pulled it off! Here you see Grandma and Grandpa entering the private banquet room at Kenyon's Restaurant in Lacon, IL. Nick and Aubrey are some of the first ones to greet them.
Next is a shot of Grandpa helping Grandma show off her cake. Grandma looks pretty pleased.
And the last 2 are of Grandma opening her gifts and then thanking everyone for making her 80th birthday special.

Seth Completes his Sophomore Year...Finally

Seth took his last final for 10th grade yesterday. Over the summer he finished classes that he was unable to do before the end of the year. In June he completed a semester of Spanish and in July a semester of Advanced Algebra. Yeah!
On the 18th he will start his Junior year. (not too excited about it at this point I might add.) It will go all too quickly.
