See story below Pictures...

School has started and is in full swing this week with full-day schedules. The air outside feels like fall with the cooler temperatures, and Labor Day is this weekend. Wow what happened? I can't blieve summer is almost over. We had a great summer visiting with family and friends and even meeting new friends. We have been blessed. Thank you God for everything. You may think this sounds funny but, one blessing I found at the start of summer was Facebook. I have been able to connect with a lot of people. family and Friends alike and just chat right then and there. It is a lot of fun and I encourage everyone to get on.
Just before school started I was really blessed to have been asked to help chaperon a trip with Seth's Senior Class at PCS. We went to the Appalachian mountains - Coker Creek Village to be precise. We left on Sunday Aug. 16 at 7:30 PM. We drove through the night (with NO sleep) and arrived at 7:30ish Am. I was one tired cookie. I didn't find my bed again and sleep until the very wee hours on TUESDAY! The week was fun filled, spirit filled and exhausting. I got to know almost all the kids and experience them laughing, crying, screaming, singing, praying and meditating on the Word. we went horseback riding, exploring caves, whitewater rafting, hiking, mountain biking, swimming, fishing, panning (for gems),we had a Hoe Down and we went to the Chattanooga Aquarium and IMAX theater. We had a blast! I really was a blessed Mom.
The pictures you just scanned through are just a glimps of the good time we had.

Summer is flying by...I'm sad to see it going

We were blessed to have as guests in our home four new friends. On the left is Jose and then his wife ValerieArguedas. They are from Brittany,France where they pastor a church. Jose was originally from Barcelona Spain and Valerie from Paris. Next is Dawn and Alan Maltwood from UK near London. Dawn is theCreative Arts Director at Bethel Church in Dagnum (spelling ?) and Alan is an Elder there. Of course then Jeff, myself and Seth, then Christine and Ken Williamson also from UK near London. They pastor the Bethel chuch in Dagnum. We had the pleasure of being the dinner guests of our friends at the Fish House in Peoria. Ken and his lovely wife joined us after preaching the message at our church (Riverside) on Saturday night. Ken preached again two services on Sunday. God really used him to bring a great word to the congregation. These six people along with 16 others from England left Peoria on Tuesday afternoon and travelled to the Chicago area until Saturday where they continued on their trip to San Francisco for 4-5 days and then on home. We look forward to seeing them again real soon. They were so much fun and like I said before, they will be our forever friends.
