Our Family Bridal shower for Aubrey
Bread and Cinnabons. They are to die for. Along with the baked goodies we had breakfast casseroles, fresh fruit cup, coffee, and a variety of juices.
Aubrey got lots of great gifts and everyone had a ball. This was one of two showers over the past week.
We are really enjoying the celebration of their love. I think they have 4 more showers to go.
The next is July 19th, it's a church shower. Also in July will be her personal shower with her bridesmaids and a family one on her mom's side of the family, ending with one in August given by my girlfriends.
We are doing a great job of ramping up to the big day.
I got my dress in Chicago a couple of weeks ago and Becky (Aub's mom) got her dress after the shower yesterday in a great little boutique in the area. Well I guess that means "We're Ready".
It is getting late. I'll sign off for now. My love to all of you. vic

Seth had his check up
Jeff and Seth made the trip to UICH yesterday. Some of the roads were still closed due to the flood. They made it ok though.
Seth saw his Gasterinterologist, Dr. Bishop. Dr. Bishop was absolutley thrill with Seth's progress. He will not see us again for a year! Yeah. Seth takes 2 pills a day and we are to start to wean him off of them and replace them with Fiber One cereal and Fiber One bars. How easy is that?
Then Seth saw Dr. Shilyanski, the surgeon. We are to see him again in four months, October 21 at 10:30. Seth will have a test done to see how things are going in there. I guess he will have this kind of a test for the rest of his life. Just once a year though. No biggie.
It was a Great report, just what we had expected. God is Good!

Seth's Post-Op Appointment Rescheduled
Due to the terrible flooding in Iowa our doctors appointments have been rescheduled for Thursday June 19th. I pray we will be able to get there and home again safely. On the news we have watched the streets we have traveled on by car be motored around on in boats!! My heart goes out to the 40,000 misplaced people who have been devastated by these floods.
On a lighter and MUCH happier note. Check out my links to my favorites. One of my dearest friends, Ruthi is planning to travel next month to adopt their fourth daughter living in China. Their story is on the blog. Ruthi will be updating daily once she gets her travel plans. You won't want to miss all the fun and excitement of their trip.

Happy Fathers Day to All The Dads
Tomorrow is Father's Day and we have a big day planned. We will start of with a long walk as soon as our feet hit the floor, then back for breakfast and then off to church. Riverside has a great day planned for the dads which will include a big car show and grilled hot dogs and drinks for all the dads in the parking lot. After church is home nap and then a steak cookout with the boys and Aubrey. We are looking forward to it.
Jeff was up and out early this morning to see Nick run in the Steamboat race downtown and I am off to Chicago with my friend Carla dress shopping for the wedding. Have a great day everybody and we'll talk soon.

It's June! Yeah
I am so ready for summer. Everything from the temperatures 80+, the festivities and the fun. We have had another great week here at the Camp Eubank. It kinda feels like a camp with all the goings on.
Seth has had two tutors coming all week each three days for 1 hour each, He is having a lot of homework, but he seems to be doing fine.
Both Jeff and Seth started tanning in preparation for our cruise in less than a month.
I got to meet with Aubrey and her mom, and Nick and I along with their wedding coordinators at Riverside. Things are really going great. Aubrey is very organized. The wedding will be beautiful.
Speaking of beautiful weddings, Jeff and I had the pleasure of attending the wedding of one of our closest friends, daughters wedding yesterday. It was very nice. The bride was breathtaking, the flowers unbelievably beautiful and the reception was gorgeous with delicious food. Everything was perfect. The happy couple were to leave for Florida today, where they will reside. They are taking a honeymoon in November.
Our wedding will be here before we know it. Already we have the first of many showers for Aubrey coming up on June 22. we will have another on June 28, July 26th, August 7 and August 24th. All that partying and it's not even THE BIG ONE, the wedding and reception on august 29th. This is going to be a fantastic summer.
My friend Carla, my sister Mary and I are going to Chicago next weekend, on Friday and Saturday to shop for my dress for the wedding. We plan to stay on Michigan Ave. Wow!!
Next Saturday the kids (Nick & Aubrey) will have their engagement photo shoot. Maybe I'll have some pictures to post. Stay tuned.
I got Jeff to snap a couple pictures of my new haircut. So I posted those. I just love it.
Until next time...God Bless you all and have a super week. Love, Vic
