We have had a very busy week, even though the work week was shorter than usual. Jeff took the week off to start working on the backyard. It is in desperate need of landscaping. What it does have is outdated and rotting! He made some great improvements, although he didn't get finished, he did make a huge dent in it.
Seth started with his Spanish tutor on Wed. and is doing great and is with his Math tutor as I write this post.
Nick and Aubrey took some time on Monday and registered for their wedding gifts at Target and Bed,Bath and Beyond.
Noah went to Chicago on Friday night with his Uncle and saw VanHalen in Concert. I haven't talked to him today, but I'm sure they had a blast.
We had the opportunity to spend some time with my brother-in-law Nate on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. Nate was on his way to Brentwood CA. (near San Francisco) in a moving truck. He, his wife, my sister Kelly and their little girl Hope have relocated there. I made a big dinner and all the kids were here, Nick, Aubrey, Noah and Seth. We had a good time. I spoke with my sis last night and Nate made the trip safely and arrived around 3PM.
I took a big step and got my hair cut short on Friday. It hasn't been this short for a long time. I love it. Maybe I can get somebody to take some pic's later and I'll post them.
Okay that wraps up our week. Post and let us know how your week went. Love to all, Vic

What A Great Week
Wow what a great week. Seth is at school this morning for the last day of his Sophomore year.
He will have some Spanish and a little Math tutoring over the next three weeks and then wrap it up. He has done a fantastic job of catching up with all the school work he missed from his 2 surgeries and even took all but the Spanish and Math finals with all the other students.
As a special treat to Seth and Jeff and I after the past year we've had, we are going on a cruise to the Bahamas on July 7th. We are SO ready to kick back and relax (Dad and I) and Seth is ready to cut loose and have a Good time.
We have decided to drive to Port Canaveral Florida, that is our port of departure. Our total vacation will be from July 5th (early) until July 13th. What fun!
One thing all the Eubanks' enjoy, and that is traveling. Noah enjoyed a trip to San Francisco and Santa Maria, California earlier this spring and Nick just returned a couple of weeks ago from Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, and now has a honeymoon to plan.
We wish you all a great Memorial Day weekend. We have plans that include family, cookouts, and relaxing. Until next time. Vickie

The RING

Here it is guys. Isn't it beautiful? Nick proposed on one knee and presented this stunning ring to Aubrey and swept her off her feet. It is of the best color rating and clarity you can get and is round cut in the center with all emerald and princess cut going around the band. The matching wedding band is also emerald and princess cut diamonds. Nick designed the ring and then the casting mold was broken. Total carat weight is just under 3 carats!!! Nicholas you did GOOD. we all love you and are VERY happy for the both of you.
We are SO Happy to Announce...

Our Son, Nick with his Fiance, Aubrey on the
evening of their engagement. Nick proposed
after only 3 months of dating this incredible woman.
He took her to the resturant of their 1st official
the date of their wedding day as August 29th.
From the day of their engagement to the day of their wedding will be 100 days!
We are on day 99, and have a lot to do!
As spokes person for Nick's family, "We couldn't be happier!" She is everything we have prayed for, for Nick's wife. God is SO GOOD.

Our New Blog Spot
I felt the need for a "new" blog spot. Our last one was all about Seth's surgery. I believe that chapter of our lives has passed. We will be forever changed by the experience God allowed into our lives. We are all stronger (spiritually, emotionally and physically), we have faith like never before thought possible, and a renewed "Awe" of our God. Jesus paid it all, and ALL to Him I owe.
Seth is a walking miracle. Yes, he suffered like no young man should have to suffer, in the opinion of a mother. But he did it with dignity and courage. Seth has been an example to many.
As a mom and dad who walked this road with our son, "it was hard to watch". But then I remember and meditate on the walk to Calvary that Jesus took as his mom and dad watched. How could they bare it? At one point His daddy, God, couldn't watch. He turned from it and the world went dark. Jesus is the one who "really suffered." He was someones son too. And He suffered with dignity and courage like no other. He did it ALL for you. Think about that. Really THINK about that. He suffered, He took the beatings for Seth's healing. Words can not express how full our hearts are to our Lord for all He has done for us.
He has done it more than once in our family, and is still, today, giving us blessings too big to even go into.
For those who are not familiar with Seth's story, go to seths-surgery.blogspot.com.
I will leave you with that. Watch the blog for our next huge miracle. Details to follow soon. Love to all, Vickie
