On Saturday Morning we, all Nick's aunts, Shirlene, Sherry, Mary, Kelly and Laura and I helped too, gave Aubrey a bridal shower. We had a lot of fun. It was entitled a "get to know each other" shower. The games reflected the theme. We did a mixer where everyone attending had trivia printed on a page about them and the other attendees had to find out who was who. We then played a get to know Aubrey game and ended with "how well Aubrey knew Nick". It was a time of a lot of laughter! we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Aunt Mary came through with her DELICIOUS homemade BananaBread and Cinnabons. They are to die for. Along with the baked goodies we had breakfast casseroles, fresh fruit cup, coffee, and a variety of juices.
Aubrey got lots of great gifts and everyone had a ball. This was one of two showers over the past week.
We are really enjoying the celebration of their love. I think they have 4 more showers to go.
The next is July 19th, it's a church shower. Also in July will be her personal shower with her bridesmaids and a family one on her mom's side of the family, ending with one in August given by my girlfriends.
We are doing a great job of ramping up to the big day.
I got my dress in Chicago a couple of weeks ago and Becky (Aub's mom) got her dress after the shower yesterday in a great little boutique in the area. Well I guess that means "We're Ready".

Wow, Vic, everything was beautiful! Looks like the shower was a hit. Sorry to have missed it but I'm glad the trivia stuff was fun.

everything looks great and everyone looks like they were having an amazing time. im glad you found your dress. it is very pretty and you will look very nice in it. well have a great time on your cruise!
** remember rub in that spray sun tan lotion stuff. you don't want to look like what i did :)
